Welcome to the Mt. Hope Neighborhood, "Gateway" to the City of Rochester and home to the University of Rochester and University of Rochester Medical Center, recognized as a leader in patient care.

In addition to our nearby University setting, Mt. Hope Avenue is surrounded by some of Rochesterís most treasured landmarks. The Erie Canal Trail accessed through the nearby Genesee Valley Park offers a chance to bike, hike, or stroll along the Genesee River. Visitors can drive or walk through the historic Mt. Hope Cemetery (resting place for American civil rights leader Susan B. Anthony and activist and orator Frederick Douglass), or travel one block to Highland Park and Olmstead Park, home to the annual Lilac Festival.

We invite you to our Avenue where you will experience all it has to offer: charming neighborhoods, nationally recognized parks, convenient businesses, restaurants, banks, auto care, beauty services, and much more...

We are proud of our Avenue and on behalf of all our businesses and neighbors, I invite you to "Meet Me on Mt. Hope."
